Germany's Legendary Annual Event Oktoberfest Comes to Wavehouse

Complete with pretzels, brats and hops, Wavehouse’s family-friendly Oktoberfest is the only place to celebrate all things Bavarian

It’s that time of year again to get out the dirndls and lederhosen, as there’s a huge Oktoberfest setting up shop at Wavehouse. From Thursday 15thto Saturday 24thOctober, families and friends can come together to celebrate Germany’s legendary annual event with pretzels, brats and hops!

Oktoberfest at Wavehouse is a gastronomical adventure with Bavarian-inspired dishes from AED 45as well as pop-up draught stein stations on the venue’s extensive terrace. Live acoustic sets of schlager music will add to the Bavarian atmosphere with a live DJ set every evening over the weekend. Every day is family-friendly with bowling and gaming as well as the Surf’s Up Waverider available on a daily basis.

 Highlights on the food menu include homemade Brezen pretzels, Reiberdatschi with apple sauce, pork wurst with bacon and apple sauerkraut and Bavarian pork knuckle with wholegrain mustard. Those with a sweet tooth can tuck into apple strudel, double German chocolate cake and black cherry and raspberry Kuchen.

Wavehouse is open every day (closed Tuesdays) from 12:00pm-11:00pm. Wavehouse bar is open to 2:00am on weekends.
