The One&Only Royal Mirage stays true to its name as a truly inimitable hotel that interlaces tradition and modern luxury with utmost grandeur. The Arabian palace overlooking the Dubai Marina skyline is the perfect place to step away from reality and rejuvenate. Passing by the Residence & Spa, you will inevitably be drawn to the Health and Beauty Institute with its overhead arches and Moroccan oil fragrance. Whether you are residing at the hotel or just passing by, The One&Only Spa is a must – setting the bar high with one-of-a-kind service that purifies both the body and soul.

If you stay in the hotel's Gold Club level, you'll have access to a special lounge with breakfast, dinner, light snacks, and cocktails on offer. The club level also includes an afternoon tea, likely for hoards of British travelers. Perhaps our favorite thing about the rooms here though are their fragrances and bouquet of flowers on display.
Why Dubai's One&Only Royal Mirage Is Still Its Best Hotel Oasisopens in new window
Part of my job as a travel writer is taking tours of hotels and resorts. Usually this involves looking in on a couple of rooms, the spa and a restaurant or two—15 or 20 minutes, and then there’s time for some poolside “research.” (I’m kidding, mostly.) At the One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai, the tour took a solid 90 minutes, and then my phone told me I’d nearly hit all my steps for the day.
