A distinguished name in the world of luxury hospitality, Heiko Schreiner boasts an illustrious career spanning over 20 years. With a commitment to excellence and a history of success, Heiko has ascended the ranks to become the General Manager at One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai where he is set to lead the way in creating amazing experiences and everlasting memories. Having recently led Atlantis Sanya as Managing Director to acclaim in China, he is thrilled to return to Dubai, a vibrant city that he and his family call home.

Heiko's journey began in 1987 as a chef's apprentice and waiter. Through unwavering dedication, hard work, and studies in Business Economics, he climbed the industry ladder, eventually becoming an award-winning Chef in his native Germany at a Michelin star restaurant within Dorchester Collection. Before joining Atlantis, he made significant contributions to Jumeirah Hospitality, playing a pivotal role in the opening of destinations such as Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

Determined to excel as a renowned hospitality leader, Heiko's professional journey continued with Kerzner International and Atlantis in April 2010 when he joined Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai as the Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage. Within two years, his outstanding contributions led to a promotion to Senior Vice President of Resort Operations. In this role, he held sway over resort operations and provided leadership to eight key business units, including Food & Beverage, Banqueting & Special Events, Aquaventure Waterpark, Dolphin Bay, Sea Lion Point, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, ShuiQi Spa, and Guest Activities. Heiko's active involvement as a key member of the executive management team significantly contributed to the development and strategic growth of Atlantis, The Palm. He led the successful execution of numerous key projects, including the introduction of 10 award-winning dining concepts, and the multimillion-dollar expansion of Aquaventure Waterpark among others.

Heiko, a name rooted in German symbolism, carries a profound meaning—"the one who guides." In every sense of his name, Heiko embodies this essence in his role as General Manager. He does not just manage; he orchestrates experiences, ensuring that every guest is treated with the utmost care and attention.

His enthusiasm to manage One&Only Royal Mirage is matched only by the exceptional features this luxurious resort has to offer. Nestled in the heart of Dubai, this opulent oasis is a harmonious blend of Arabian elegance and contemporary luxury. When Heiko is not elevating the guest experience, you will often find him pursuing his passions. He is an avid cyclist, runner, and swimmer, reveling in the energy of these activities. Besides being a dedicated hotelier; he is a loving husband to Karen and a proud father of three wonderful children—Clara Sofia, Marie Hanan, and Ruben. Their support and love inspire him every day to create extraordinary experiences for guests, just as he nurtures memorable moments within his own family.
