One&Only Palmilla Sets The Stage For a Thrilling Fourth of July Holiday With a Week Full of Festivities

One&Only Palmilla, the secluded, ultra-luxury resort in Los Cabos, will host a full week of celebrations for Fourth of July, starting on the first of the month. Featuring events and activities for the whole family, guests can enjoy specially curated dining experiences with world-renowned guest chefs, immersive art activations, a variety of live music performances, exclusive mixology tastings, exhilarating fireworks, and more.

On Monday, July 1, the resort is offering the ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime experience with an exclusive private dinner for two to enjoy the unrivalled gastronomic creations of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, prepared and served by the acclaimed culinary master himself. Set high above the Sea of Cortez in the Hacienda Bell Tower, the private dining room features spectacular 360-degree views of the resort and ocean beyond, and will be exclusively reserved for just the couple. Each course throughout the evening will be complemented with a perfectly paired vintage from acclaimed Sonoma County winery, Domaine Della. At evening’s end, diners will leave with a bottle of Domaine Della signed by the winemaker and Chef Jean-Georges – the perfect keepsake to remember this very special culinary event. Guests are invited to join Chef Jean-Georges in the kitchen at Suviche, the resort’s fresh sushi and ceviche restaurant, for a Master Cooking Demo and gourmet lunch on Tuesday, July 2. The first-hand cooking demonstration offers a rare chance to learn from one of the world’s foremost culinary masters, while enjoying floor-to-ceiling views of the Sea of Cortez. The demo begins at 11.30am and is $125 per person including lunch. Attendance is limited to 10 guests. In the evening, Chef Jean-Georges moves over to SEARED, the resort’s exceptional steakhouse, where he presents a one-of-a-kind menu of gourmet delights, each paired with a premium wine from Domaine Della. On Wednesday, the popular Mèxico Màgico experience at Breeze welcomes diners with an array of culinary stations featuring regional Mexican specialties, alongside a live traditional Mariachi performance throughout the evening. Reservations are available from 6.00pm – 10.00pm and priced at $55 per person. Following the steps up to the Hacienda, guests can also enjoy the return of the Summer Artwalk for an evening of art and music under the stars. A curated collection of work from local artists will be on display, including hand-crafted paintings, sculptures and other creations – all available for purchase.

The festive week continues with a Gala Barbeque on Thursday, July 4, featuring renowned Argentinean-born, Mexico City-based chef, Dante Ferrero, who will create a succulent barbeque buffet on the South Lawn. The family-friendly event, held from 5.00pm – 11.00pm, will offer something for everyone, including live music by DJ Coleman, a petting zoo for kids, and a stunning display of fireworks beginning at 9.00pm. Tickets for adults are $150 for full access (entrance, inclusive of food & beverage) and $100 for general admission plus drinks; teens (12-18) are $55 for full access or $20 for general admission; kids (6-11) are $35 for full access or $20 for general admission, and children under six are complimentary.

On July 5 and 6, One&Only Palmilla’s Head Mixologist, Philippe Zaigue invites guests to the resort’s Veranda to experience one of Mexico’s premier tequila producers, Clase Azul with a full sampling of the family of tequilas—including a special debut not yet announced— and a delicious array of canapés. Two seatings are available Friday and Saturday evening, 6.00pm and 7.00pm, and costs $60 per person. On Saturday, guests can take their sipping to the next level with a special Cocktails & Canvas class, where a fun-filled painting class will be led by some of Mexico’s most accomplished local artisans, alongside a special selection of signature cocktails, masterfully concocted by Philippe Zaigue. The painting class will take place at Agua Bar and is complimentary for all participants; cocktails for purchase à la carte.
