Vincent Smarrella
General Manager, One&Only The Palm
Vincent Smarrella is General Manager, One&Only The Palm in Dubai, responsible for the entire operation of One&Only The Palm and its continued strategic development.
Mr. Smarrella joined One&Only with over 40 years' experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including key positions at some of the most prestigious luxury hotels in Paris, France and Venice, Italy. He joined Kerzner International in 2012 as Senior Vice President, Hotel Operations at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. At the iconic entertainment destination resort, he oversaw the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Call Centre, Concierge, Bell Services, Guest Services, the Business Centre, Housekeeping, VIP and Butler Series, Retail and the Atlantis Spa. He was an integral leader at the award-winning resort.
Prior to joining Kerzner International, Mr. Smarrella worked with Hotel Le Bristol in Paris where he was Resident Manager. In addition, he was responsible for Sales in the Middle East, South East Asia and Japan, as well as emerging markets China and India. Prior to this position, he had various roles with leading hotels throughout Europe including Hotel Le Ritz in Paris, Hotel Gritti Palace, Hotel Danieli and Grand Hotel Des Bains, in Venice Italy.
Mr. Smarrella graduated from Tourism Institute F. Algarotti in Venice, Italy, as well as studying International Law at the University of Padua. In addition, he graduated from Cornell University in New York and from ESSEC University in Paris in Hotel Management.
