A passionate believer in experiences that connect people with the natural environment, Simone Brooks is responsible for the talented team of Field and Horse Guides who provide guests with some of their most memorable nature-based experiences at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley. Having forged a twenty-year career in tourism and outdoor leisure, Simone now works with her team to curate truly amazing itineraries for each guests’ stay that highlight the beauty of the Wolgan Valley Reserve and the surrounding National Parks.

Before joining the resort in 2010, Simone worked for three years at the Australian Horse Racing Museum in Melbourne, where she ran visitor programs. Simone has a Bachelor of Arts degree from La Trobe University, a Graduate Diploma from Edith Cowan University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management from Deakin University.

Simone is one of the leaders behind Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley’s sustainable luxury and conservation-based tourism and has spearheaded the resort’s regeneration program following the recent Australian bushfires. She is also one of the faces of Tourism Australia’s ‘Holiday Here This Year’ campaign (2020). In her spare time, Simone loves to travel, visit museums and galleries and go bushwalking.
