DINNER BY HESTON BLUMENTHAL

The one Michelin star Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, which reimagines Britain’s gastronomic past, is set to take guests on a delightful and exploratory journey featuring festive delights from the ages. Throughout the month of December, a special six-course tasting menu will be on offer, including dishes such as Sherried Scallops (c.1965) Venison and Pickled Cherries (c.1850), as well as classic mince pies. Guests are also invited to experience a Christmas Day six-course lunch or a Christmas Day seven-course dinner featuring historic dishes such as Plum Meat Fruit (c. 1500), Roast Chicken (c.1672) and Christmas Tipsy Cake (c.1910), with traditional Christmas crackers to start and mince pies to finish.

ARIANA’S PERSIAN KITCHEN

Helmed by the award-winning Iranian American chef Ariana Bundy, guests can celebrate Christmas with beautifully presented dishes featuring a subtle interplay of textures, spices, aromas, and flavours. The delicious Ghajar set menu will include thirteen dishes of Persian cuisine from Sabzi Khordan with a medley of herbs to Kabab Koobideh, an Iranian national dish of chargrilled ground lamb, as well as Torshis with pickled garlic, pickled eggplant, nigella seeds, and date pickles. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the Baghlava Qazvini, sticky nut-filled parcels, and Faloodeh, which is iced vermicelli with lime, rose water and sour cherry sorbet.
