Nobu Dubai Announces Exclusive Collaboration With Milan’s Award-Winning Speakeasy 1930
This marks the beginning of several exciting partnerships this year between Nobu Dubai and some of the biggest names in the bartending world.
This month, Nobu Dubai's award-winning Bar Manager, Angelo Immorlano, will host Benjamin Fabio Cavagna of the acclaimed Milan cocktail bar, 1930, in an exclusive bar collaboration on Wednesday 31st January. Guests can anticipate immersing themselves in the world of crafted cocktails, featuring four unique creations by Cavagna and four by Immorlano, specially created for the evening.
Ranked no.42 among the World’s 50 Best Bars, 1930, with its secret Milanese charm, will present signature beverages, including Geisha 2.0 featuring Bombay Premier Cru, shiso, yuzu sake, and ginger honey, to Iberic Manhattan with Patrón Blanco, Mancino Rosso, peach syrup, balsamic, and homemade mead. Meanwhile, Nobu Dubai will showcase creations such as the Flying Fish, a tequila-based cocktail with clarified lychee cordial and grapefruit, Immorlano's take on the classic Paloma, and Bincho – featuring Patrón Reposado, roasted pineapple, pandan, cacao, citrus, sea water, and rocoto. For those seeking a broader selection, Nobu Dubai will also offer its popular à la carte Nobu bar menu.
The 1930 cocktail bar, founded in Milan in 2013, remains a well-guarded secret known to a select few. Only enthusiasts of the misologist world and friends of the Family Group can gain access, keeping the tradition of speakeasies alive. With an undisclosed address and an exclusive ambience, 1930 showcases the bar's use of some of the most progressive and interesting spirits from all over its native continent.
With over 17 years of industry experience, Spanish-Italian native Angelo, is the architect and driving force behind Nobu Dubai’s enhanced beverage programme. A true leader in the mixology community of Dubai, Immorlano has been at the helm of the Nobu Dubai beverage program since 2022.
Nobu Dubai x 1930 will take place on Wednesday 31st January from 9:00pm to 12:00am at the Nobu Dubai bar. Signature cocktails are priced from AED 75.
