High performance skincare from renowned brand Augustinus Bader arrives at One&Only Desaru Coast, the ultra-luxury retreat on Malaysia’s secluded south-eastern coastline. Opening in April 2024, the rejuvenated One&Only Spa will be the first resort spa in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to offer transformative treatments in partnership with the celebrity-approved brand.

He currently serves as Director and Professor for Applied Stem Cell Biology & Cell Technology at the University of Leipzig in Germany. From cupping therapy to Ayurvedic medicine and rhythmic massages, the gentle wisdoms of the Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous communities of Malaysia will be brought to life through these revitalising treatments. Bespoke massage oils, crafted with Malaysia’s natural herbs and spices, will be used to complement the experience. These include an all-new signature oil of blue lotus, geranium and frankincense, and a stress-relieving option infused with bergamot, mandarin and nutmeg. Expectant mothers can look forward to pre-natal pampering, while the little ones unwind with relaxing kids’ massages. Decadent manicures and pedicures from the revered PEDI:MANI:CURE Studio by Bastien Gonzalez, as well as organic hair and scalp services, will be available for a thoroughly restorative experience.
