« Mazagan Academy » launches the 2nd promotion of its Apprenticeship Training Center
As part of its socio-economic initiatives and to honor its commitment to training skilled resources, the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort Academy launches the promotion 2022-2023 class of its Apprenticeship Training Center.
It is worth noting that the Apprenticeship Training Center of Mazagan Academy aims to provide young people in the region with the opportunity to receive a diploma-level training in the fundamental fields of hospitality industry, through an innovative pedagogy that combines 20% academic training and 80% practical experience alongside professionals.
The first edition, 2021-2022, was a great success, thanks to the involvement and enthusiasm of the apprentices and the commitment and perseverance of the various internal and external supervisors and trainers. After 12 months of continuous training, the apprentices were awarded diplomas to help them enter professional life in the tourism sector. Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort has recruited over 80% of the graduates in its various departments.
This new promotion of 2022-2023 is marked by an increase in the number of beneficiaries, with a total of 90 apprentices, with the aim of preparing a large and well-trained human capital. Each of the three fields: Cuisine, Restauration and floor service will welcome 30 apprentices; all from the region and with a minimum level of 3rd year of secondary education.
To ensure the success of its mission, and following the example of the first edition, "Mazagan Academy" calls on a team of professional trainers, specialized internal trainers and various partners. The academy also provides the transport, meals, uniforms and the necessary learning materials to train the new recruits.
Open days are scheduled for mid-September so that candidates can discover the world of hospitality. The selected candidates will start their training at the end of October 2022.
