Perfect Pairing of Gastronomy and Music at One&Only Le Saint Géran

One&Only Le Saint Géran, the ultra-luxury Mauritian retreat, serenely located on private beachfront peninsula, welcomes renowned concert pianist and composer Van-Anh Nguyen, for Perfect Pairings, a weekend of sensory gourmet experiences. Epicureans and classical music lovers alike will delight in Van-Anh’s live compositions, paired with expertly selected wines and a delectable French five-course menu on Friday, 16 November and Sunday, 18 November 2018.

The Perfect Pairings menu has been crafted by the resort’s talented Head Chef from PRIME, Vikash Coonjan, with wine pairings by Head Sommelier, Michael Bongrand. Every course of the menu will be complemented by live music from Van-Anh, with each song especially chosen to match and highlight the cuisine and wine being savoured by diners. The five-course fine dining menu takes inspiration from classical French cuisine, with exquisite courses such as Luted Scallops with Chayote Leaves, paired with 2014 vintage Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, accompanied by a live rendition of Debussy Arabesque No 1 performed by Van-Anh.

A child musical prodigy turned world-wide sensation, Van-Anh has performed live in countries all over the world including prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House, City Recital Hall, Segerstrom Center of the Arts in California, USA and many more.
