Anne Scott is the General Manager of One&Only Cape Town, the ultra-luxury urban resort at the heart of South Africa’s most vibrant city. Leading a dedicated Team of colleagues, Anne oversees the resort operation and strategy, continuing to elevate the captivating guest experience and warm authentic service for which the resort is renowned.

With a passion for premium hospitality and delivering exceptional moments for guests, Anne brings a wealth of international experience to the iconic resort, which has set the standard for luxury resorts in South Africa since opening. Situated at the centre of Cape Town’s fashionable Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, overlooking the marina and with panoramic views across to Table Mountain, One&Only Cape Town offers benchmark-setting wellness on the exclusive Spa Island, famed cuisine from several restaurants including culinary icon, Nobu, and a range of curated experiences that celebrate the best of the destination.

Anne has over a decade of experience as a General Manager, established in various locations across Asia including The Andaman, a Luxury Collection Resort in Langkawi, Malaysia; The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort in China; and The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur Hotel and Residences in Malaysia. Prior to joining One&Only Cape Town, Anne led the team at W Dubai – The Palm, where she was the pre-opening General Manager and a founding board member of Marriott’s Female Leadership Initiative, Middle East & Africa.

Raised in Scotland, Anne first began her hospitality career in Food & Beverage, before transitioning to HR and progressing to the role of Regional Vice-President Human Resources, Middle East, UK and Africa for Marriott International. In 2002 she moved into Hotel Management, holding the role of Hotel Manager at The Park Tower, Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel, London for over 5 years, before taking on her first General Manager role at Le Meridien Chiang Rai in Thailand.
